Stress Free From Ceremony to Honeymoon

Wedding planning can be a complex undertaking, even more so when planning weddings on a beach or other unique locations. When you arrange for your Stress Free Wedding, Dr. LePage and his associates will explain all parts of the wedding ceremony. You are free to have him do all of the ceremony, or to create a part or all of it yourselves.

Of course, wedding planning is much more than just the tables and chairs, the flowers and invitations. What makes a wedding special are the details of the ceremony itself. Below are some of the things we like to pay particular attention to in our wedding planning. Weddings on a beach are special in and of themselves, but these are the things that make each one truly unique.

Many couples desire to write their own vows and we can help with the details. Other couples wish to give us their ideas and have us formulate them into vows. Still others decide they want us to use traditional vows, such as, “I take you to be my wife/husband ... till death do us part.” We want you to have whatever is most meaningful to you -- and if your thoughts are somewhat random, that’s OK. We’ll help you fashion them into unforgettable vows! This is the kind of wedding planning that we do.

Some couples want to create their own ring ceremonies and some want us to write them. The same with prayers or readings. Perhaps there is a prayer or a saying that was Grandma’s favorite and you’d like to bring her presence into your ceremony. Perhaps you have a friend or relative who is a singer, musician, or poet and you want him or her to sing, play, or recite a poem. At Stress Free Weddings, we help shape all these elements into unique meaningful and loving ceremonies -- beautiful weddings on a beach or wherever you choose!

Some couples may have a child or children from a previous marriage. We can add a “Uniting of Families” section to your ceremony in which they can participate as little or as fully as you like. Just ask us.

Special Blessings and Rituals

You may wish to incorporate special blessings into your ceremony. In the Hebrew tradition a blessing is a special sign given by an older person -- a person of wisdom -- to a younger person. It signifies a spiritual passing on of values which the older person esteems and respects. Here is an opportunity for a grandparent or older relative to bestow some of their years of experience and wisdom to the wedding couple. We have many sample blessings for you to choose from, or you can write your own, or craft a part of both. Dr. LePage will help you every step of the way with your wedding planning.

You may also wish to have Dr. LePage incorporate a benediction that is special to you or your families. A benediction is a spoken word of good will. This is a perfect place near the completion of your ceremony, for members of the wedding party -- bridesmaids and groomsmen -- to offer their words of encouragement. Andy will help you write these, and members of your party can read them off cards he will prepare for them.

Finally, at Stress Free Weddings we can craft a parents' validation to you and your new spouse. This is an opportunity at the completion of your ceremony, just before Andy introduces you as the newly married couple, for your parents to speak their good will to you. Now, as a married couple, the first words you hear from your parents will be their good wishes for your wedded life. Andy will help you with the words, and even print them on cards for parents' to read from. Complete and thorough wedding planning from start to finish, that's what we do.
